Jon Voight joins some solid gold stars in his later years by completing payday movies. It's hard to believe even 10 years ago we'd see him star in something so amateur as this.

Gibson plays an ex army surgeon trapped in a hospital by Irish gangsters, who saves the day with her exemplary skills. There is one scene where she's crossing the roof and glances down at the dozen waiting police, who all salute her. I actually laughed out loud at the cheesy ridiculousness of it all.

She then proceeds with her white top on covered in bloodstains, to fight hardened gangsters in the style of Bruce Willis in Die Hard.

The story isn't a bad one but the screenplay and dialogue are not even in B movie class. The men trying to appear tough and menacing just look like posturing schoolboys in the yard.

The score is daytime TV movie class, and the photography standard on-the-cheap not-that-steady-cam. The directing is appalling. The acting apart from a few scenes for Rhys Meyers and Voight is mostly B movie or worse.

It could have been a decent adventure had it been carried though properly: but sub standard photography, score, dialogue and directing have turned it into a laughable failure.
