It's rather annoying when shows have two major plot lines and alternate episodes telling each story. You get a great cliffhanger, but the next episode is something that's occurring on the other side.
You know what's worse? Throwing several plot lines in the same episode. Now I get why they separate them. This is an absolute mess.
Ignoring the Cavill v Director/Writer conflict, I imagine the viewer would still have a major complaint with the story. It's hard to simply remember what happens after spending an hour watching without distractions
If you wanna steer clear of the source material, you need to do a good job of it and this is pathetic.
