Kristen Schaal officially becoming a castmember is such a bad move. Jemaine Clement being loyal to his ex-Flight of the Conchords castmember is fine, but she adds nothing to the show and doesn't really contribute jokes.
They pick right up with us learning Guillermo tried to become a vampire and things did not go very well. I am usually fine with over the top comedy and props and blood, but expecting us to laugh at it as much as they were hoping for tonight did not work.
This was not the best start to the new season for What We Do in the Shadows, but still glad to have it back on the airwaves.
