Rachel's dad is a prominent attorney and shows her little respect for her career choice. She is trying to make it on her own, but she is always on her heels. A case comes up with a food company charging sexual discrimination in hiring and firing. She sits in and her father makes mincemeat of the representative of the company. He acts as if Rachel isn't even there but the methods are directed at her. Michael tries to do what he can to settle things down although he won't admit he is acting to save the beating being given. It's interesting how often these depositions can get so hostile when they are really pre-trial things.
