I've loved these two seasons of ST SNW, except for S02E09, Subspace Rhapsody. What a frustrating waste of an hour of what has otherwise been a tremendous series.
It felt like there were two possible scenerios that could have lead to this terrible episode. Either AI was given a Glee script and a Star Trek Script, or the writers didnt have a full episode written and decided to boost the run time through using a musical numbers.
There was some good performances, some decent key themes were handled in common with the rest of the series, and character arcs. But, overall, for someone who would choose to watch a musical after almost any other genre of program, the songs were too long and I ended up skipping large portions of them.
You'll get the drift of any song within 30 seconds, some of them felt like they went on for days. Fast forward was the best thing about this episode.
