I should know what exactly these Netflix action movies are gonna be but yet here I am watching them anyways instead of skipping. Heart Of Stone is no different from all the others. It's the same movie as The Grey Man, which is the same movie as The Mother, which is the same movie as Triple Frontier. I could go on but you get the point by now. This is a movie that feels like it was generated by an algorithm. "What do people like? Ok well let's just continue to make the same movie over because the computers say that's what popular." I'd be fine with that if I actually have a awful about the characters and didn't have to endure some awful dialogue too. Everyone in this movie is stone cold, even Gal.
This borrows heavily from every spy franchise. Mission Impossible, Bond, Bourne, you name it. All of the popular things and tropes that define those franchises are weaved into this, designed specifically as a new package to make it look like you've never seen it before. Absolutely pathetic.
