I've been catching up with this great series on bringe watch so if you're watching in 2023 or later, don't be too depressed that this series goes into something of a lull. Keep watching! In this episode, the most interesting part was Lazlo psychoanalyzing The Guide and discovering her obsession with Guillermo for being a slayer. Now there's a slight element that can be used to give this otherwise pointless character something to do! Not that I would wish it on Gizmo but the show needs it. Other than that, the lamp & genie turns out to be a key element later on, not so much for itself, but for the situation they spark.
