The series had too much lag around the 3rd to 6th episode. The plot had potential but the way they presented wasn't engaging at all. The screenplay wasn't great. I had high expectations from the director duo Raj & Dk but this was subpar.
However, there are a few positives. The comedy was good. Rajkumar did complete justice to his character. Athmaram's character was interesting. They managed to keep the whole 90's vibe going throughout.
DQ's character arc wasn't impactful but he managed to do a decent job acting-wise.
Guns and gulabs might be Your cup of Tea but it certainly wasn't mine. If you're expecting Farzi or family man kind of series, then this might let you Down as the theme is completely different.
