Warning: Spoilers
Who needs Kelly Severide when you have Randal "Mouch" McHolland. When the lieutenant is MIA, Trudy (Amy Platt, making a welcome crossover appearance) is convinced by Mouch to let him take over the arson investigation of some small fires at one of Trudy's friends' apartment blocks. Naturally, hilarity ensues. I love these funny Mouch episodes.

Elsewhere, the house has an annoying floater due to Carver being "sick" and he takes a shine to Violet. I liked how this storyline ended: with a Gallo-Violet kiss. Future episodes will be interesting. Maybe there's a chance for that couple.

Speaking of couples, the episode ends with Severide wordlessly showing Stella a text. She asks what he's going to do as the screen fades to black, and I have a suspicion this is the last we'll see of him for a while, given the still-unexplained leave of absence Taylor Kinney has taken from the show. Hopefully he returns, sooner rather than later. Chicago Fire doesn't feel right with no Casey or Severide.
