First things first. Why are the band in the film not called Take That? All their songs are in it. It's about the four main protagonists and their love of the music for the band. But, no band. And, why did they choose Athens? Trying to get the Mama Mia audience for sure.
Apparently they failed to get Hollywood involvement because, guess, what, Take That never had any hits in the US.
Everything is really basic in the movie, script, editing, direction and acting.
