I am currently in between games right now so I decided to play this while I wait for Baldurs Gate 3 to be released on the PS5.
Sea of Stars is a fun little game but it feels like it missed the time window for its target audience by about 20 years. While being very light hearted this feels like a game I would have absolutely loved back when I was about ten years old on the GBA or SNES. The question is what ten year old is looking for a throw back tribute to games like Chrono Trigger or Golden Sun? If you are that 10 year old kid then more power to you, you are probably a pretty cool kid for wanting to play something other then Fortnite. If you are an adult looking to play something nostalgic and are ok with it being on the more childish side you will probably enjoy this game as well.
I was hoping for something a little more serious and deep but that's just me. 5/10 good but I won't be revisiting this one.
