Last of Don & Betty

First off, Pete's affairs are like contrived male fantasies and come out of nowhere. Pretty poor girl crying right outside his apartment and he winds up with her; much like the blonde model that he takes to her house... the only bulwark that time was her weird mother...

Pete's a good character (remember he was the main villain in the first season) but they put him into odd rabbit-holes on this series... I do, however, like the girl he flirts with later in driving school...

It's nice having Don and Betty have one more tryst before all that story ends, which is already happening since Mr Stern Nose is already romancing Betty... he's one of those characters that fits this show because it always seems like he's going to do something violent at any moment, despite seeming nice on the surface... I'm waiting for him to dump his dog in New York City...

Conrad Hilton seems like a stalker, not a billionaire, but again, good character for this, a strange, addictive series... however, this story-line only attempts moving forward when it really goes sideways, as happens sometimes...

Also it was nice seeing "What do you want to do with your life!" Mark Metcalf, the "Pledge Pin!!!" actor from ANIMAL HOUSE.
