A gigantic red/orange glowing meteor crash lands on the island --and spells trouble for the castaways. Whoever, in the prop department, designed this meteor was very talented, let alone imaginative. Perhaps one of the best props of the entire series.
It is so much fun to look at, best described as a colossal glowing meat ball? Ya think?
Now to the serious stuff. The professor concludes the meteor is deadly and will, in fact, accelerate the aging process, so much that the gang will become senior citizens within days!
Gilligan has another "dream sequence" where everybody becomes very, very, very old. The skipper tops the list, looking much like Santa Claus! Again, the age-old question: where did everybody's wardrobe come from? The cast, as usual, is having a blast with the costumes and makeup.
