The initial premise of this film, by the ever great Eric Bresard, and starring some true icons in the ever incredible french cinema - could make for an interesting and often utilized plot of opposites slowly warming up to each other.
And whilst that is eventually what this film does, the way it gets there is truly convention breaking and shocking - neither of the characters is what you think, nor is their eventual relationship. It is truly sharply and very cleverly written, with incredible acting, and a perfect mix of drama and humour.
The cinematography, cutting and editing is splendid and it is all around beautifully put together in every sense of the word.
Overall, truly a standout and yet another very promising title in the fall movie season! Highly recommended for any lover of film.
