Sita is Older than Rama?
14 September 2023
From the moment the film began, it was clear that the chemistry between the two leads, Miss Shetty and Mr. Polishetty, was going to be a highlight. Their on-screen presence was magnetic, and their comedic timing was impeccable. I found myself rooting for them and laughing at their quirky encounters throughout the film.

One of the aspects that truly sets "Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty" apart is its clever use of cultural differences. The movie skillfully weaves together the Indian and Polish cultures, creating numerous opportunities for humor. Whether it's the language barrier or the clash of traditions, the film navigates these situations with grace, ensuring that the humor never feels forced or offensive.

BUT WHY?

The movie has faced significant criticism for depicting Sita as older than Rama. This is a major deviation from the original Ramayana, which clearly states that Sita is younger than Rama. For this reason alone, my rating for the movie is only one star.
