An epic event the world was watching.

Warning: Spoilers
Wrestlemania III is probably one of the greastest wrestling spectaculars of all time and truly was the WWF's hight of success in the 1980's. The entire card had many entertaining matches that was carried by the strength of its main event, which of course was Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant. I can remember going to a close circuit tv event at one of our commercial arenas which had a sold out venue. I remember how excited and amped up the crowd was during the show. We had so much fun its a lasting memory during my teen years I will cherish forever. The main event had the crowd out of theirs seats including me as well. When Hogan body slammed Andre the noise from that arena was deafening and when he dropped his patented leg drop to pin Andre it made wrestling history. Andre was the big icon of wrestling in the 70's and early 80's. Andre's health was starting to deteriorate from his illness and many people have often overlooked the significance of Andre losing to Hogan, which was prescripted. Andre was passing the baton to Hulk Hogan which caused Hulkamania to explode like never before and no wrestler had ever come close to the popularity of Hogan after that match. Wrestlemania III in my opinion will go down as the greatest wrestling promotion of all time. Thank you Vince, the wrestlers, and all the people behind the scenes that made this extravaganza a legendary event for all times.
