Warning: Spoilers
I can't help but feel this series is a propaganda piece for the vegan/vegetarian diet.

The Okinawans and Sardinians eat copious amounts of animal foods and seafood. The plant based dishes are just side dishes to their heavy animal protein diets.

No culture or people in the history of the world has survived and thrived by eating just plant based diets.

Sardinians eat pork from nose to tail, cured meats, dairy, eggs, cheeses of all types, fish, seafood. Okinawans also eat a ton of animal fats and seafood.

Another thing is they get lots of sunlight and live in sunny climates. Sunshine and animal fats are needed for the body to produce vitamin D, which is so essential to health and longevity.

At the end of the day, these people live long healthy lives because their lifestyles mimic the lifestyles of our primal ancestors.

Our primal ancestors lived in the natural world, ate nourishing animal foods, exposed their bodies to the sun and moved their bodies daily. They didn't consume vegetable oils, processed garbage, mindlessly scroll through social media and rot away like we do in tgis modern era.

Point being, if we want to be healthy and vigorous, we should mimic the diet and lifestyle of our ancestors.
