I'm not from Decatur, but I live here now. I've heard so many Stories about Staley, but I didn't understand the true depth of his influence in the farming and manufacturing community. He really was a visionary for his time and his story is told so well in this documentary! I was born in Illinois and lived here almost all of my life and I didn't know that Decatur is technically the home of the Bears football team too originally know as the Staley's. His level of influence in the sports industry at that time was also pretty incredible. Personally one of his greatest assets I think was his love for his family and his employees. He did all that he could to make sure those that worked for him were always taken care of. Such a great guy and such a good story!!!
