This would've been believable if Jen was really half black. There is no way whatsoever we as the viewers would believe that Jen really had a black baby. Especially with her husband having a black best friend whose also real close to Jen. Tom is wrong for feeling like something is wrong!! How??! Of course a white man is gonna say he doesn't want a black baby. It's not racist at all.
