(1987) Best Seller
THRILLER
A little well made thriller which went straight to rental centers on a professional killer, Cleve (James Woods) building rapport with inspired novelist, Dennis Meechum (Brian Dennehy). Written by Larry Cohen in which the tone is reminiscent to the likes of "The Hit" from 1984.
Despite it's low budget, the chemistry and the acting chops of James Woods and Brian Dennehy makes this film work despite it's restraints regarding action as well as it's story line, locations etc... and when I meant it is action less, there is hardly any to speak about, with an ending that can easily be predicted.
