I was completely blown away when I watched this series! The subject matter is brutal and often hard to watch, but it's portrayed in such a realistic manner that it draws you in and makes you need to know what comes next. The characters are multi-layered and complex and the acting is stellar. Nicole da Silva is brilliant as Simone, the flaky friend who has meandered through life, never quite accomplishing anything, until she publishes a book about a story that isn't entirely hers to share. Yael Stone gives a solid performance as Hat, the responsible, levelheaded friend who became a lawyer, a mother, and acts as the anchor for the friend group. Jodie Whittaker gives a heart crushing performance as Tess, the former hot mess who moved away from her friends and her past, got a career and made a good life for herself, with the help of her wife, Vicki (beautifully played by Kat Stewart) and their children.

It's a great introspection of who owns a memory/story when it was experienced by multiple people in very different ways. I honestly haven't seen anything so well written and well acted in years. It even allowed me to face some difficult memories from my early 20s. This show really struck a chord with me and many others.

I really hope this gets a US release. I paid for a paramount (Australia) subscription and vpn for 2 months to watch it as legally as possible, but I really need it back on my TV, in my region so I can watch it again! This
