I enjoyed How Poopy Got His Poop Back

Warning: Spoilers
My first impression about Season 7 Episode 1, was Rick and Morty continue to have their groove. I enjoyed the episode.

I didn't particularly care that there were new voice actors. They sounded close enough to Rick and Morty. If I didn't know there was a problem with Justin, and that new actors were brought in, I'd hardly notice. Which I think is a good thing.

Stories and characters made Rick and Morty great. And while the voice actors gave their characters, personalities, and I wouldn't want them changed, if it was possible; the fact is, the writing is half the reason why Rick and Morty, succeeds. And continues to succeed.

The plot for how poopy got his poop back was classic Rick and Morty. It was well-written. I loved seeing Rick's friends. I love Mr. Poopybuthole. Enjoyed seeing Bird Person again. Great to see BP's kid is around! Then there's Squanchy, of course! It's been a minute and good thing he is still alive. And Gearhead. GENE! What a great addition to Rick's gang!

And Hugh Jackman! I hope Jackman joins in on future adventures with Rick's gang too.

I laughed quite a bit during the entire episode. I found the mythology growing to be excellent. Sometimes you don't have to focus on Rick Prime or the President to laugh and have a great adventure.

I think there is a clear progression of great storytelling from season 1 to 7. I think the series grew quite a bit and was better starting with season 3. Yeah I did enjoy seasons 1 and 2, I think the great sci-fi mythology with the galactic empire, rick prime, Space Beth and more, for me is why I keep coming back.

I look forward to more fun episodes and discovering more of the mythology around Rick and Morty!
