This episode leaned into goofy nonsense with clones and weird Jolly Ranchers jokes and I think that this is the avenue they need to go in. Keep things lite and satirical and that will tell a better story because asking the audience to be scared of what they are seeing is perhaps a little bit too much.
Definitely corny but the idea of fighting with kids whose heads explode on any impact is good enough for a one-time premise. My only worry is if this drags on for too long and they revisit this trope in later episodes.
Decent enough and I continue to be intrigued by where they are going with this thing.
