Episode four of Goosebumps had its highs and lows. I don't like anything with worms so I was legitimately grossed out by that, but I feel like they hadn't really developed Lucas at all prior to this episode so his chance in the spotlight seemed strange.
The idea of a giant worm monster terrorizing people is certainly a choice from a storytelling perspective and maybe just a bit too extreme here. But it was not bad television and if you watch it through the lense of certainly not expecting PBS Masterpiece Theatre then maybe you could actually enjoy the show. You just need to watch it that way though.
