Has potential, but falls very short

Warning: Spoilers
It's pretty clear the director was trying to go for visual kind of storytelling and a lot of the scenes were beautiful. The fighting scenes are choreographed decently, but the way they film them is unsatisfying, the cuts, and the edits, they do it better in WWE than they do in this film. Why can't directors learn more from movies like Upgraded or John Wick, stop putting 20 cuts in one fight sequence and just put 1 or 2, and make it flow well. Instead of trying to sell the hit of a punch with a camera cut, choreograph it well and film it well and you have a great action movie. We've been doing it since the 80's so I'm not sure why it's so difficult to do in 2023. The last fight sequence, when the character has its classic "power up at the last moment" he stands up, punches the opponent and wins the fight, but you don't even see the punch, it's just a weird camera cut that makes you feel almost, left empty.
