I guess I can see where others are coming from. Although having seen the following episode, I'm not sure this is one I'd call filler. I suppose this and the next episode could have been condensed to a single episode, but then people would probably call it rushed. And you can't skip this one either because of the crucial reveal at the end.
And I feel like I saw the Cate thing coming. Not the circumstances though, and I thought she would end up being a total traitor and bad person. With powers like that, it's hard to write a characters that's only doing good things I guess. Seems like it's always been that way.
But I still enjoyed the episode. Is it a bit tween-y? Sure, but why not? Let the show be funny and satirical, but you've still gotta do something with your characters. If anything, all of the sleeping together, the drugs, the partying and the cheating seems sort of realistic.
It's not, like, Riverdale bad though😂or Disney Channel bad. I am still really curious to see what happens next. I've liked most of the acting the mystery of getting interesting!
One question though... Why didn't Sam mention way earlier that he suspected Cate erased their minds? He had a moment to in the opening scenes, so why wait until the very end to say something? Maybe I missed something there I don't know.
