This could have been a great movie, but the stereotype of the "smart guy who knows it all but no one believes" is tiring. Maybe some other facets of the characters could have been explored, as well as the reasons of the murder.
Personally, I was not expecting a happy ending, but the movie ends leaving is with a feeling that something os missing, as the last scene is disappointing. So the assassin decided not to kill her (why?), left the show and threw the to knife in the fire? And the smart guy figured that all in the end? And the boy wanted revenge because he thinks the teacher is his father?
Disappointing. Very disappointing.
