Watched this one recently and I gotta say that I regret not watching it on cinemas.
Let's start with the animation. Wow, Pixar has really outdone themselves. It's so beautiful, the design, the rendering, the effects, everything is so pretty. I found myself in awe at everything. Everything was so smart, every element had their own thing, the fire and the air guys were so cool, such a smart design.
Onto the plot, at first I thought it was typical immigrant story but it's actually supper cute. I really thought they would kill the dad and I was not prepare for that. I really love the relationship of the protagonist with her dad. The only reason I give this one a 9/10 it's because we have seen the "I don't want to do your thing dad, I want to do my thing" many, many times. I think we can really move on from that plot and maybe write something new.
Lately Pixar is not doing the best films but this one was really a hit, the kids love it and I hope they keep making great films like this. I would recommend.
