This show is settling into itself now, and I think as viewers we are starting to see what it's going to be like.
I was a bit sad of course to see Charlie turn down the chance to succeed his dad, but I suppose it works better for the story if it's Cal. Just to have Charlie back though was a masterstroke and shows that this isn't just destined to be a cash in to make content for Disney+.
Tim Allen remains as charming as ever, but kudos to Elizabeth Mitchell for being lovely as Carol.
I'm really enjoying this show. It's well made and seems to have its heart in the right place. It feels like more in-keeping with the sequels rather than adopt the simple charm of the original, but it's good fun.
