Valerie persuades a reluctant Mark to go on a double date with Willie and Jenny so Jenny's cousin Maryanne will have an escort. The date turns out to be a nightmare for Willie, who makes one faux pas after another, but Mark ends up enjoying himself. Back at home, Michael and Valerie recreate their own first date.
This is a tepid effort. The story is a sitcom cliche and not one of the better examples of the first-crush/first-date trope. The two child actresses are bland and boring and lack personality. Neither of them did much else in way of acting after this episode
