I've seen a few Chinese martial arts drama during covid. This is probably the only one I d like to recommend for the following reasons:
1. The story makes sense. Some people love fairy tales but not me. The drama is logically normal and the values it tries to express worth believing.
2. The director is a good story teller. He makes the whole thing comprehensive and smooth.
3. Great actors and beautiful actresses. Their performances are natural and convincing. I love the leading male actor and his fellows.
4. Great martial arts design and awesome scenes. They use very little fake scene. Ep8 is the best to see these amazing fights and real scene.
Finally, I like the comedy conversations happened in the drama, the fallen leave on Ning Yuanzhou's eye when he kisses Ren, the leading female actor.
My advice is to get some peanuts & beers before you start watching cause as long as you start, you don't want to stop .
