A weak movie not its inception, but its flow, vibe and especially its storyline plots. Good acting, but no logic and cringey weak realism. What other users might see as realistic, dramatically satisfying and claustrophobic are not. What is happening down there is not real and realistic, rescue team 72 hours, seriously, shut down all the coal mines then! Too few oxygen bottles and variously advanced safety equipment, shut down the mines (people lives matter more). "Old" miners (past 45), not good; crazy emotionally weak women down there, a no go and a big no no.
'Beneath' needed a way more realistic script bringing strong logic as to what is happening down there, way faster rescue and if you wanted a woman 600 feet below, then add one or two more strong women for real cinematic dramatic purpose.
An old miner dad and his daughter down there together, if that happened for real (based on true events), I have nothing more to say!
