Kavanagh QC: The final chapter
9 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I first watched Kavanagh QC when it debuted back in the late 1990s and I watched pretty much the first three seasons and after that for reasons I can't recall, I didn't watch seasons four, five and the concluding instalment. Thankfully, with the help of repeats and social media I was able to finally catch up, after over a quarter-of-a-century! By far Kavanagh QC is one of the finest British legal dramas, alongside Blind Justice. Judge John Deed is okay although its creativity judicially and the judge breaking every ethical rule in the book was a bit too much. Anyway, The End of Law is sadly the end of Kavanagh QC. John Thaw died less then a year after The End of Law debuted, and I understand another series was on the way. One funny scene amidst the drama in The End of Law was Jeremy's fantasy about being head of chambers!
