Review of The Abduction of Jennifer Grayson

Normally I enjoy movies in this genre, and I admit I watched this entire movie out of curiosity. Very low budget and lots of mistakes, but it did entertain me. The acting was not great and the editing was abrupt. What stood out the most is it felt like a high school drama project. None of the acting seemed natural. The main girl who played Jen was probably the most prepared and did use facial expressions well. However she was rather annoying to listen to and never seemed distressed about being tied to the bed. The main guy was alright and might have even been good under better direction. The detective, sad to say, was a hot mess. At the end of the movie he was reading his lines in the scene! Could have been a decent movie but fell short with the poor acting and slow pacing.
