Joseph Cavella, who wrote episodes for GET SMART and THE MAN FROM UNCLE, kind of put the police touch in this classic episode. 10 STARS.
It's really bizarro stuff as Rob gets himself arrested!
He has an arguement with Laura one night, leaves home, stumbles and gets a black eye... all the while there's a fight in a local bar and the cops trace "half" of the suspect's license plate to Rob's own car. What a dilemma of dilemmas.
There's some very good actors at work here, including Philip Pine and Sandy Kenyon as no nonsense cops. Also veteran Bella Bruck plays the helpless victim, always fun to watch. The police lineup scene is classic Dick Van Dyke material you have to see. Bella has a good closing line.
Don't forget the movie in question is THE GUNS OF NAVARONE.
