Paris in Love (2021– )
9/10
Brave and sweet
12 December 2023
Watching Paris try to metabolize and talk about her experience at Provo, or talk to her family about it, is impressive and awesome. One of the effects of trauma is that it's really hard, almost impossible, to talk about. But as she says, naming it and not hiding it is therapeutic.

The setting is so surreal, being surrounded by that much wealth and beauty - omg the clothes - but her vulnerability comes through the camera. Just like Marilyn. People say, Oh if they only knew about Marilyn, she could have been helped. Paris is using her platform to help those harmed by residential schools and therapies, especially showing us how to heal the family relationships. It's courageous.
