Buck Rogers is in the sick bay since he has contracted Cignus Fever due to his antibodies from the Twentieth Century and Hawk leaves the Searcher in patrol alone. Meanwhile, Ambassador Cabot, Dr. Moray and his aides come on board of the Searcher and are received by Admiral Asinov. Ambassador Cabot was the responsible for bringing peace of the Earthlings with the lizard people Saurians. However, they have been replaced by Saurians in disguise that want to take over the Delta Defense Grid and dominate the galaxy using the Searcher. But Buck sees them through the video, and they have a green aura, but nobody believes him. While in pain, he sees that they are lizards, but the doctor, nurse and crew believe he is delusional. When Dr. Goodfelow gives Buck's blood sample to Dr. Moray, the Saurians adjust their devices and Buck stops seeing the green aura. He is almost convinced that he had hallucination when the Delta Defense Grid contacts the Searcher.
"Mark of the Saurian" is a great episode of the Second Season of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century". It is impressive how silly Admiral Asinov and Dr. Goodfellow are and they irritate in some moments. The plot is well-developed and resolved with the defeat of the lizards. My vote is seven.
