As someone who did grow up in this era, it does highlight all the negatives about this lifestyle. Gabbers as addicts, rascists & dealing drugs. Creating webs of lies and everyone involved seems to just blindly go along with everything. I missed depth & background. I was hoping to see more of the contrast of the classical music versus hardcore and how both can take you to higher grounds or something. It felt like it was a promotion for a certain lifestyle and also like it was trying to create sympathy for some main characters, that made nothing else but poor choices dragging everyone down. It also made it seem like the parents where at fault of their destiny while it seems like a simplification of the situation.
