An average episode that has the trio helping a wayward youth locate his father and dealing with sadistic loan sharks. Pete endures a 2-on-1 beating in an alley but not before bashing one of his attackers in the face with a pallet. Linc tries to get in on the sharks' action by posing as an enterprising college student. The finale has a foot chase at a children's zoo where Linc forces a confession out of the baddie by leaving him dangling over a pen of hungry grizzly bears.
Supporting actress Virginia Gregg has a bigger role here than she usually got in these type of shows and suffers a wicked beating at the hands of one of the sharks. John Carter as the illiterate farmer would play Lt. Biddle in BARNABY JONES a few years later. Billy Bowles plays his fifteen-year-old son but looks about twenty-five here. Woodrow Parfrey appears as the pawn shop owner and is not as recognizable here as he looks heavier and has a beard. Julie barely appears in this one. 7/10.
