Did not care too much for the direction it was going, and majority of the action was toward the end

(1996) Jeet (In Hindi with English subtitles) DRAMA CRIME/ ROMANTIC

Co-written and directed by Raj Kanwar it has shady businessmen, Mr Gajraj Chandhry (Amrish Puri) CEO of a cracker factory conspiring with Pitamber (Mohan Joshi) and his associate Govardhan (Deepak Shirke) that involve the illegal selling of weapons. Except that there happens to be a journalist Blajeet Parmer who appear to threaten this kind of unwanted exposure. The next scene has four thugs chasing this journalist while he was attempting to run away, and he happens to be stopped by that one particular thug, who ended up cutting off one of his arms. By the time authorities did arrive, with Inspector Pratap asking for witnesses regarding the incident, no one talks other than Mr. Siddhant (Alok Nath) who was with his daughter, Kajal (Karishma Kapoor). For they are requested to drop by at the police station the following day. And while at home, a thug by the name of Karan (Sunny Deol) then breaks in and beats Mr. Srinivas him until his daughter sees this and intervenes. And it was at this point he just stops what he was doing and gazes at her before he walks out. While Karan is being incarcerated suffering in the hands of authorities, a prostitute Tulsibai then shows up at the station with her lawyer and her best friend, Piajee to post bail. And the first thing he does as soon as he is let out is stalk Kajal upon her visiting the temple. And while Karan is drowning his sorrows at a bar, he then sees a young boy being bullied by an older adult after spilling a drink. And it is not long before Karan beats him and his friends to a pulp. And just when he was going to stab the main troublemaker, the boy then stops him. Because the boy himself is also homeless with no parents, we understand why the name given to him is "Time Pass"(Master Mohsin)! Who Koran then takes Time Pass under his wing introducing and letting him stay with four other thugs that he lives with. And just as Koran is taking Time Pass to school by taking transit, Kajal and her friend coincidentally hop on to take very same bus as him. And it is not long before Kajal and her friend are physically assaulted by attackers who also hopped on the bus as well. Koran then intervenes and this time, he saves her and her friend against five aggressors. Later, Time Pass happens to know where she happens to live, and he motivates her to go and meet him. It is not long before they hit it off walking along the zoo with Time Pass. She then tells him if he was really in love with her, that he would have to make some sacrifices, such as to give up his violent ways and look presentable, as the thuggish look is the one he knows about. And Koran does to Kajal's satisfaction except that just when you think things are working out as he was initially a thug who bullies for shipping businessman Gajranj Chandhry. The other obstacle is as soon as old friends, Rajnath Raju Sahay (Salman Khan) and his dad, Ramakant Sahay (Dalip Tahil) begin to show up at Kajal's doorstep, both fathers then expecting both of their own children to be married to be one another. Kajal confesses to her dad she is in olve with somebody else creating a rift between him and his daughter. Stressing him out enough to have a heart attack. While the father thinks Koran is no good for his daughter, what he does not know about the shady business Raju might get involved it.

A few things, like if Kaja; was so wealthy what was Kajal doing taking transit! It is so that Kajal can see Karan their first actual encounter. This is an example of convenience. What the heck was Time Pass doing at the hospital? It is so that he can be the one to inform Karan his love interest, Kajal is going to be married to someone else. Another unlikely scenario that can put in the category of convenience.
