While it's not the worst television movie I have seen, it's not a good movie at all. There's too many things going on in this movie, like the giant worm, the main character looking for the treasure, the doctors going to stop a disease, and the oil company. While the treasure and disease side plot is connected to the worms, both of them aren't that interesting or develop that much. The oil company plotline is the one who cause the worms to show up, but that part isn't that enjoyable or interesting. Now, the Mongolian death worms could have been enjoyable, but they barely appear that much, and most of the action happen pretty quickly to be suspenseful or enjoyable. They most do the same thing throughout the movie and nothing too big. They did cause the disease to the water, which isn't that surprising. The climax itself feels rushed and underwhelming.
