Maestro (2023)
7/10
DISJOINTED.
25 January 2024
This film has great technical and artistic quality: in terms of direction, interpretation, photography, set design, costumes and of course music. But I felt that the story was somewhat disjointed. No space or movement to see the film develop and really find out about Bernsteins work.

Synopsis: Maestro is a towering and fearless love story chronicling the lifelong relationship between Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. A love letter to life and art, Maestro at its core is an emotionally epic portrayal of family and love.
