I love how this episode begins with Prince Zuko reminding us exactly why we consider him a villain (especially after how honourable he was in the previous episode.) And I like how it contrasts Zuko with Commander Zhao to show us how much worse a person Zuko would be if he were not entirely sincere in his claims to care about honour.
I like how this episode shows us that not all Firebenders are bad people (that's a lot more nuance than you would expect from a show like this.) The episode also has a lot of neat action scenes and Avatar Roku letting his wrath be felt was no exception. I also like the revelation that Aang must master all four elements and defeat Zuko's father before Summer's End or he will burn the entire Earth Kingdom to the ground and seize complete control of the rest of the world and I specifically like how it raises the stakes for the show as a whole. Also, I think Jason Isaacs (or as I know him Lucius Malfoy) does a great job playing Commander Zhao, especially given that Isaacs is British but Zhao speaks with a plausibly American or Canadian accent.
All in all, this episode was nothing short of amazing.
