They're talking and giving cues while writing letters on a belly. They're telling the talent to "hold it hold it hold it" during a close-up still. They're counting the holds for the satanists, "three four five."
The audio goes out for about 10 minutes but you can still hear the video hiss so you know it's not a technical difficulty, but something in the video.
