You ever watch a movie and wonder why it was made? For me this was one of those movies.
The (non)mystery of the movie is: why are so many people going missing in these national parks?
I should've known beforehand that any answer probably would've been unsatisfying. But then at the end of the movie you find they don't even give you an answer! It didn't leave me creeped out, just extremely frustrated.
When the forest/beings make the main character lose her mind, I wasn't convinced, just bored and scratching my head. Why does the forest need sacrifices? I still don't know, and that isn't a good thing.
If you like your horror dark and deep, I'd pass on this one.
