This is a fine thriller, that keeps you on the edge of your chair until the very end. The story is solid, with some seriously surprising twists and turns, the pace is high, and the acting is over all excellent. Especially Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Annabelle Wallis both do a great job. On the (minor) down-side: the writing is at times a bit shaky, we see for instance both the sheriff and main character Rayburn constantly making silly irresponsible decisions, like going after the supposed serial killer totally alone, preferably in the dark woods and without any back-up. But I guess that comes with the territory of thrillers: if everyone would be sensible and prudent, we wouldn't have anything to rack our nerves about.
