Dark Harvest is a streaming-level horror flick with an interesting premise. I love the look of it, by far the best part of the movie. There are lots of beautifully creepy images and backgrounds, like a stunning but eerie moon. I was mildly enjoying the first half of the movie.
Around that point, I figured out the entire rest of the story which caused me to have significantly less enjoyment for the rest of the runtime. I was hoping there would be something more, but there wasn't. And it doesn't come close to having a satisfying conclusion. I groaned when the credits rolled.
I can see some die-hard horror fans liking this. But unless you regularly enjoy lower-level movies, this is probably a skip.
