Why would a mob boss not kill the girl (Naomi Watts) first ? Why go around killing other people and trying to hide the evidence. How difficult was it for the Russian ganglord to kill Naomi Watts ? She keeps going and meeting him. She screams that he is a rapist in public and yet he does nothing. He just tries to have other people around her killed. The movie is definitely good but this left me purplexed. The depiction of Russian Mafia is perfect and. Armin Mueller-Stahl as the boss looks very intimidating. The performances are spot on. The gore and violence is brilliant. It is not for the faint-hearted. If you like seeing throats being slit then this movie is for you.
