Scott Gimple should have been fired a long time ago

Warning: Spoilers
My contempt for Scott Gimple's work is justified and here is why.

Before I must say, the best thing about the spinoff was the performances of Andrew Lincoln and Danai G. And that's it.

Gimple had YEARS to write this "epic" story (according to him) and many fans waited years (included me) to see Rick's return, so this guy has no excuse.

This episode is patetically sad bc it reminds me of any filling episode of Fear The Walking Dead, but it was even worse, since Gimple decided to end the greatest threat the Walking Dead universe has ever known, the CRM, IN 45 MINUTES OR LESS . I always doubted Gimple's skill writting and as showrunner and Im not wrong, this guy has no idea what to do with this franchise, I feel sorry for the fans who wasted their time watching World Beyond, years of CRM build up for nothing, so why make a spinoff of the CRM?, The answer is simple, Gimple just improvises, that's why temporal time is a disaster too.

This episode is so rush that in each pacing there is an issues trying to follow the situation, not to mention unrealistic scenes and cheesy dialogue, which reminded me of the final episode of the main series and in terms of development it's the same, 1. Prepare the attack. 2. a big explosion. 3. the enemy is defeated 4. A happy ending.

The ending was for the fans, Rick's reunion with his children was what many fans expected, but even that scene was cheesy and poorly executed bc assuming they arrived in the Commonwealth, where are the rest of the characters? I mean Carol, Ezekiel, Gabriel, etc. And about Maggie and Negan, years have passed, Rick is not mentioned in their spinoff, does Maggie know? She should.

Once again the fans are left full of unanswered questions, full of loose ends, fans theorizing about it like morons, I think that after this a lot of people will wake up and realize that this franchise isn't going anywhere and there will be no season 2 either.

Scott Gimple continues improvising and thinking about how to end this nonsense, maybe AMC will lose patience like me and they just from one day to the next they cancel everything.

My last thought

The best era of TWD was Mazzara and Darabont, like someone said on twitter.

I love TWD but I hate what it has become.

Rick deserved a better story.

1/10, If I could have given it a zero rating I would have done so.
