A beautiful insightful film that built up momentum over time and left me feeling uplifted and peaceful by the end. Chin We has demonstrated her skills as a very talented filmmaker by weaving together so many complex women's stories. She has tackled some very relevant and harrowing issues with maturity and sensitivity and her usage of cinematography to exemplify each persons story was both subtle and poetic. The film feels like a cross section of documentary and art and I liked the way that the woman in each story was able to take control of their own narrative and lead the viewer where they wanted to.
